Nolan Cherry

Nolan Ray Cherry, 44, passed away March 9, 1996, in Idaho Falls from a heart attack. He was born April 21, 1951, at RexIurg, Idaho, to Ray Dee and Lois Nef Cherry. He grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School where he participated in German Club and Student Council. He attended Ricks College.

After managing Jordin Farms, he joined the family business in 1979 and has been the manager of Cherry Glass and Aluminum for the past several years.

In 1970, he married Sydnee Byington at Idaho Falls, and their marriage was sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple January 12, 1979.

In addition to his talent for organization, he had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling, hiking, mountain climbing and rappelling.

He is survived by his wife, Syd, and their five children: Trevor Ray of Salt Lake City; Brandon Dane of Logan; Apryl, Kenna and Robyn at the family home in Idaho Falls. Also surviving are his parents of Idaho Falls and six younger sisters and brothers: Margo Duncan (husband, Charles) of Idaho Falls; Ronda Leanhart (husband, Marty) of Butte, Montana; Lori Casler (husband, Rick) of McMinnville, Tennessee; Bret Cherry of El Cerrito, California; Bart Cherry (wife, Tanny) of Idaho Falls; And Darece Stutzman (husband, Ben) of Idaho Falls.
